This JSK is absolutely beautiful, and the fabric itself has a nice, heavy feel to it. The seams are well done, none of the buttons seem loose, and overall it's just an extremely well made dress. It looks okay with only one petticoat, but I'm definitely looking into getting a second to help get the proper shape for the skirt.
One big positive for me with this JSK is that I have a large bust and it tends to make some bodices look a bit weird even when the dress fits, and this particular JSK doesn't have that problem. The vest part lays very naturally on me and looks really good overall.
This JSK was part of my 3rd order from here and Linda has always been great with communication, has excellent customer service, and has always been willing to work with me. If you are new to lolita or are looking for a new place to buy from, I wholeheartedly recommend My Lolita Dress!
This petti is super poofy! It's almost too poofy it's so huge, and I'm one who likes a maximum puff skirt too.
There's first a layer of cotton underneath, and then 4 layers of tiered organza, and then a top layer of very pretty soft tulle lace. The waistband is cotton and has a drawstring on the inside that you can tie up, but the waistband is very stretchy elastic anyway so you probably won't need to use it unless you're very tiny. It's definitely accomodating for plus size people, and the cotton makes it particularly great for hot weather or if you tend to sweat a lot.
It's definitely my new favourite thing, and far better than the literal decade old 2 pettis I was previously layering since 2011.
I ordered the veil and it matches perfectly with the dress! I adore the little pearl beads on it. It's the perfect length to compliment the dress. It comes with both a comb and a clip so it is nice and secure on the head. I tested it out and it will stay put in my hair when Ceilidh dancing so that is quite impressive!
I feel like a fairy princess in this dress! The embroidered stars are so high quality. All of the ruffles and little details are flawless. The laces are gorgeous. I spent so long just admiring the details before even trying it on! It fits perfectly (for reference I'm a UK size 8 and I ordered this in size M.) I can't wait to get married in this dress!
These tights are gorgeous! The print is so pretty and the colours are vibrant. I ordered them in black, white and navy. The material is good quality so I don't worry 24/7 about snagging.
I adore these boots! They are incredibly soft, they feel like real leather! They're lined with fleece ao will keep me nice and warm in the autistic and winter. And spring and summer in my country, haha! They feel like walking on clouds they're so comfy! A refreshing change from many other lolita shoes!
This dress is STUNNING! The print is so vibrant and detailed and I love the unusual cut. The dress comes with little threads for you to lace a belt through which I love as it keeps my chiffon belt from falling down. It also looks amazing with either an a line or cupcake petti underneath.
This is a pretty headband thay I bought in black. I like that the beads are detachable so you jave more variety in looks. Although the flowers used are a lot smaller than pictured which is a little disappointing. I was expecting a couple of big flowers, not several small ones. I preferred the look of the flowers in the picture.
